I'm the last person to want to point fingers, but on many occasions we
have difficulty with AOL's mail gateways. Given the volume they handle,
and given that they spread the load the way a bank opens multiple
windows when there are long lines, it's not surprising that you might
get messages out of order.

Ah, but that's the kind of readership we have. If there are problems,
we generally deal with them as they come up. I guess it's a case of
respecting the subscribers, so that they respect the rest of us. So far
it works splendidly.
