where the mail goes

Who were your other providers? I track all the connectivity and mail
delivery problems we have, in an attempt to head off problems as soon as
possible. I subscribe to this list on three different systems in three
parts of the country (to make sure it's working correctly), and haven't
ever seen this happen. I'd be curious to hear any details, from anyone
else who has experienced this. (Please send the mail to me privately,
because it's way out of line for the list proper.)

So far, the most frequent problems have been big service providers that
have multiple systems that accept incoming mail. (Sometimes one of the
multiple systems falls behind, while the others keep going, meaning that
mail comes in out of order.) The mail message headers tell all, though.
They explicitly show when my system hands it over to your system, which
helps a lot in figuring out what is going wrong.

ObSalinger: I'll bet he never has this problem.
