Dear Tim, Malcs, Will and fellow bananafishers --

With folded hands and a bowed head, I plead guilty to not responding to the
messages on the list. I almost composed my goodbye note months back
somewhat on the lines of Dylan's Restless Farewell but I have been in a
_Watching the river flow_ kind of a mood/mode -- my only weak and feeble
defence is that the reason for not posting it is simply that I am still
subscribed -- haven't had the time to even send an unsubscribe message!

Just been tangled up in blue, and busy so much so that there is a crazy
backlog of personal mail to respond to (though I somehow manage to read
yours and Helena and Brian's posts, sometimes days after they are sent).

The whole Letters thread and the excerpts that found their way on the list
had me in splits, for example and I was tempted to join in but somehow
didn't get around to.

Needless to say that I am touched and moved by being remembered by all of
you and want you to know that I'd come off the lurk mode if only I had
something to say. Right now I decided to bite right into Malcs' bait! :-)

Aah, my hands hurt (fell down while running to cross the road and bruised
both my hands rather badly.

Contritely,
Sonny
