But if you do everything for the Fat Lady, aren't you doing it to get Fat
Lady brownie points? Isn't that just another kind of treasure? When I try
to do everything for the Fat Lady, I worry that I'm doing it just so I can
build up a fan club of Fat Ladies who think I'm great, which is basically
the same as striving for power, prestige, etc. Is it possible to do
everything for the Fat Lady purely so that the Fat Lady will be pleased,
but not so that I can be proud of myself for pleasing the Fat Lady?
(Does any of that make any sense at all?)
