There was no question that you "knew" Derrida in my mind in the sense
that you had read his works and understood them.  But it should be
obvious that the language you're speaking to describe his thought is
hardly common parlance to anyone who hasn't read him.  It virtually
requires translation.  You should know that, theory aside.  

And it is a privilege to listen to guy who has worked with Derrida the
man.  Interesting.
