Is there such a thing as a non racist ethnic culture?
Even in Asia, there are some tensions between the
differing nations. With no offense to white people,
I've never had a black guy comment on my slanted
eyes(I'm Korean). Black people have been here for a
long time, struggled, and finally got some clout in
America. Korean's don't have as long a history or as
large a population in America as Caucasians, Africans,
Hispanics, and others have. But I do like to try and
be optomistic(maybe I'm a
cynical/pessimistic/optomist). When I was younger,
people would ask me if I was from China or Japan, and
I'd say "Korea" then have to show them on a map where
it was. Now, I say Korea, and it's not as big a
surprise. As much as white people might hate being
referred to as "cracker" or "white boy", think of how
asians feel about being called "chink" or "jap", or
how Africans feel about being called "nigger" or
mexicans being called "wetbacks." what goes around
comes around. Chris Rock is a comedian. Comedians
aren't supposed to be politically correct. Many
comedians take get their material from life: Lenny
Bruce, Richard Pryor, etc... etc...
