This, I'm afraid I have to admit, is MASTERFUL:

...bright and burning masterful! (Like a grandslam to overcome a three-run
deficit in the bottom of the twelfth....)

(Is it possible that we only called catcher's mitts "trappers" here in
Canada--where we're supposed to have something like sixty-seven different
words for "snow", and where the fur trade, alas, is still going quite strong?)

Cheers,

Paul

OSR--Nobody picked up on an earlier query about MATTHEW SALINGER.... which I
STILL think might be very meaningful--especially given our macrobiotic
patron's apparent predilection for "lima beans".... (It's such a WONDERFUL
dedication to a book, almost matching my all-time favorite: Peter Beagle's
overture to THE LAST UNICORN....)
