The readers sit facing the one or two librarians in the room and it's all so thick with juicy ideas and ivy tinted creaminess that you have to do something wild the moment you get out. When I go, I usually sit for 3-4 hours in one or two sittings and never leave hungry...good reading, will >> Alright, this is all sounding familiar. I've never tried turning right and walking past the desk (before going through the turnstiles)...so thanks for the help. The reading room is the one to the left as soon as you walk in, right? I walked in there ONCE and had to run right back out again, having been overcome with a sudden urge to dance on the tables barechested and scream at everyone to QUIT TAKING THIS SO DAMN SERIOUSLY :) So I think I know which room you mean :) But lord, what a beautiful place. Have you checked out the used bookstore across the street? If you're lucky you'll catch it right after a professor has gone through a divorce or something a sold all his books for a little red sports car. . . :) (me, leech). And there's a Wonderful CD store right down a little side street... I'm going there January for sure, now :) Jim
