All this discussion of literary theory (and a discussion with my
personal tutor this morning) has kickstarted me into trying to get to
grips with it a bit. Can anyone suggest any good books which will give
a not too difficult introducion to various schools of thought. I'm not
too bothered about which particular schools of thought. My main text so
far has been the Bennett and Royle introduction, but I'd like something
a bit more specific.

I had to write an essay on Beginnings and tried to read the Edward Said
book of that title. Hence my phobia of literary criticism ;-)

Love, Lucy-Ruth
