I'm afraid I did much the same as you, I sat in a Barnes & Nobles well
padded chair and read the Salinger mentions I found in the index and then
left with my wallet intact. Tim has the book and I think someone else said
they were going to purchase it. You have a good memory to retain what you
have outlined for us.
I believe I did have an espresso beverage while there so B&N didn't lose on
my visit entirely.
