CONNIE? I've heard of Sister Suzie, all right, but
I really do wonder about 'Connie'. Though it has,
I admit, a jolly healthy ring to it.
Speaking of health. I've no idea if you have a daughter.
But say you had. Would the old features light up
with relief when she announced her intention of pledging
herself as the bride of an unseen God to a life of chastity,
poverty & obedience (to whatever old harridan chanced
to be placed in authority over her)?
But no. I can see already see your beaming smile.
What a fine life she'll have, surrounded by all that kindly
niceness. Just like being back home with dear old Dad.
