Ya gotta hear the guy live. He's so funny! Go out and
find "The Best of Lenny Bruce" on the Fantasy label.
On the same label, pick up "The Carnegie Hall Concert"
concert from 1961 - it's long (used to be three LPs);
the bit about Christ and Moses coming back to New York
is tremendous! Also try to find "Live at Curran
Theater" and "The Berkeley Concert" (not sure about
the last title) both lengthy and funny but also major
digressions about law (good) since the last seven
years of his life he was being hounded by law
enforcement. He was a sacrificial lamb for all the
X-comedy today on Cable that has maybe one hundredth
of his insight if they're lucky.
