Yeah, I can't think of a religious tradition that thinks suicide is admirable
in any circumstances (though the buddhists burning themselves in protest
seems a bit of an exception, but Seymour's suicide was a bit different, I
think). The only philosophy I can think of is an almost non-philosophy,
something like a Byronic romanticism...
