The Bedfords are actually a bit nicer, I think. The Nortons are
usually odler, and they don't have much in the way of "intro"
material. I recall that the Bedford/St. Martins Shakespeare editions
all feature a tidy summary of the types of criticism to be had in the
readings that follow (the same intro each time, but that's not so
 terrible).

Righto. I was actually thinking of the Bedfords when I said Norton. I had
to go over to my shelves and start picking through the books to figure out
which was which.

Both Nortons and Bedfords have criticism at the end, but only the Bedfords
consciously pick criticism from specific POVs and offer introductory chapters
describing the theory. The Bedfords are a lot nicer.
