If you had said it, there might not have been difference. But you
didn't say it. Scottie said it. And when Scottie said it, there was
a difference. So in the context of the discussion, the
interpretation matters.

Jim, you are not the only person in this discussion. I am not on
this list to debate with you. You may be discussing suicide purely
as it pertains to Seymour, but I don't think that is the truth for
everyone. Even if it was, how do you know that Scottie's linking of
psychosis and suicide did not have to do with Seymour? I have a
feeling it did - as suicide (Seymour's or someone else's) certainly
can only be discussed very shallowly without discussing
state-of-mind. I am interested in what he has to say to about it. I
was not merely trying to say that Psychosis and Neurosis were
different. I think their difference bears weight on this discussion.
And as for your point, Seymour related or not, NO, I am not
interested in responding to it. Not when you are in such a defensive
and abrasive mood.
