The thing we all have in common though, is that we are still here.
For some reason or another, we didn't follow though with the desire
(or were found in time to get medical help). For me it was the
thought that I had to pick up my little sister at school later that
day.

Maybe I didn't want her (she was 10) to have to deal with me not
showing up because I was dead. Or maybe some part was looking for
some excuse to back out of it without feeling chicken for not doing
it. But for whatever reason, I didn't.I think part of Robbie's point
was that there is some step between thinking about it and doing it,
and that step is something extreme.
