Not only, but it's always been my experience that when a child comes out of
a private Christian school -- at least K-8 -- they're a lot stupider (or
"more ignorant") than those that came out of public school.

And friend and I recently unearthed a pamphlet of his from when he was in
Sunday School, I think, about the evils of masturbation. It encouraged boys
to hang a big picture of Joseph in their bedroom, and whenever the
temptation to abuse themselves came, they could look at Joseph and remember
the strong will he had in resisting temptation. It was a very large
booklet, and when I asked him if I could get a copy he said he didn't think
(he hoped) they gave them out anymore. (I'd like to go down into the
church's storage and look through all their old boxes...)

lovely!

Sincerely,
The Reverend Robert W. Pigeon
