Please, everyone, for the last time: we're not people; we're Salinger
fans. And this is not a social space for goofing off--it's meant
strictly for the discussion of J.D. Salinger. I'm afraid minor veiled
references to Salinger subject matter tucked away in titles just won't
do anymore.

I know in the past we've ignored digressions in the spirit of getting
along, and of course it's always acceptable for the truly delicate and
sensitive among us--those who really *get* JDS, those who really
understand and connect with, say, Holden--to cry out in
not-strictly-Salinger-related anguish (provided the prose is a limping
immitation of Buddy Glass), but things have gotten out of hand here.
