Tcha. Your invincible frivolity is part of what I like best about you,
Scottie B. I'm sorry if my request for more kindness was mistaken for
anything more than it was: a feeling that things were getting a little
out of hand in these last weeks.

Sofia's response, and the responses of others, made me remember what
I've come to forget: that this group of people seems clicque-ish and
perhaps a little scary when you first encounter it. But I'll reiterate
what has already been said more than once in recent days: some of the
most interesting commentary comes from new folks. (Though you old folks
are not so bad.) What I've liked best about this list is something that
I've never found on other lists: a distinct sense of community. I'd
hate to lose our Governor.

So. I don't know what my point was. Oh. I hate birds. So I watch the
bananafish instead, n'est-ce pas?

Regards,
Cecilia.
