Well, before the great silence, just a final one -
prompted by Sofia's kind tribute to my fikonspråk
It's a matter of outrage for many of us when, year after
year, the greatest American writer of the last two hundred
years continues to be denied the Nobel Prize.
Do we now have the explanation? Can it possibly be
that whenever his name comes up the humourless oiks
of the Swedish Academy mutter unknowingly to each
other: 'Figspeak, figspeak....' ?
