But so Daniel, if I may beg a momen of solidarity with you (it's a New
Mexico thing): where do you suppose Joyce falls on the Bowman scale of
laconic coolness?

Also, it seems it's now time to haul out an old favorite: compare, for
fun, Joyce's "The Dead" with JDS's "Uncle Wiggiley." Neat, isn't it?
