    'The Anti-Professor Crowd' sounds marvellous - especially
    when confident of one's own membership of that elite.
    One of the APC = OOU, huh?

    I'm reminded of the New Yorker cartoon showing a bunch
    of penguins lolling elegantly against the bar in their tuxedos,
    quaffing daiquiris & waving cigarette holders. They're turning
    away in disdain from the new arrival, another member of the same
    avian species but togged out in corduroy pants, scuffed loafers,
    leather-patched jacket, bow-tie, specs & pipe - evidently one
    of those dreadful populist profs.
