You know what's funny? It never occured to me either and it still hasn't,
that Eric was gay. I asked for evidence, besides Paul's stereotypical
assumptions about homosexuals, for Eric's homosexuality and have received
none whatsoever. Suffice it to say, I still maintain that Eric's
sexuality in general, was not even a significant theme in the story. I
went on to name other themes in this post, that I thought were far more
prevalent and noticeable. The number of people who seemingly insist
though, that Eric's sexuality and supposed homosexuality was an important
theme is definitely disturbing and like I said.......I'm afraid, a sign
of homophobia.
