Yeah, really. What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

The Noble Hippy

Noble Hippies are like the movie cast of the Hollywood version of "Hair."
They're kind, clean, dressed a bit funny, but they act a bit funny too.
They're led by caring, considerate, charismatic young men who keep strife to a
minimum and fun to a maximum.

They understand you. They're self educated Doctors of philosophy and
psychology. Since they gained their knowledge outside of the "system,"
they're obviously pursuing their intellectual interests out of love, not
pretension. They carry deep knowledge of all subjects, without intellectual
pride.

They're all musicians, poets and painters. Very deep, and very sensitive.

All the women are attractive and available, and will not demand commitment on
principle.

Real hippies, on the other hand, really fit stereotypes applied to gypsies in
days gone by. They're dirty, ignorant thieves who do nothing but drive around
in beat up vans following the latest Grateful Dead shows. If there are no
Grateful Dead shows to follow, then they do nothing. While they do care a
great deal about dope, they don't really care much about peace, love and
understanding, because they really don't think much about anyone but
themselves.

They were cool back in the 60's, but all the cool ones grew up. Now they're
just roaming dirtbags with bad taste in clothing.
