you know i think that there is a way for fanny to be pregnant. i mean it is
not entirely impossible for a pregnant girl to completely lose her sense of
self worth and question herself. can she not have already been going
through a time of questioning and then the fact that she is pregnant just
have pushed her all the further? i think that franny is upset because she
knows that she has to try to find spiritual ease and she needs someone to
help her but her savior (seymour....??? buddy???) isnt there. i think that
she knows that the father of her child can never understand her in the way
she needs to be understood so she is depressed all the further because now
she is linked to him for life, whether she chooses to have the baby or not.
well hey it IS just an opinion.
