Who would have thought not a year ago, when he was in the hospital feeling the cold breath of death on his face that not only would he pull out of it but that he'd get to perform for the Pope, not to mention the President at the Kennedy Center Honors, release one of his greatest albums ever, and also take home the album of the year in not one but two categories, as well as have one of the songs win best rock song. And accordingto all the reports on the mailing list, his live shows right now are some of the best he's EVER done. Yeah, it certainly is a helluva record.
