I turned 16 my sophmore year in high school. It is this year of high school that rings true to me the most. Sophmore year was the year that everything happened. Life seemed so perfect and great at one moment and then came crashing down the next. Every little instance was a catastrophe. My life was a soap opera and each day brought a new twist into the unending struggle of sixteen year old existance. My friends and I were young and melodramatic, and "things" held importance then. For the reason of feeling and teenage turmoil, then yes, 16 is a good year to be alive. mathew r. swiatlowski
