Well, it's kind of hard to summarize such a large scale work such as
Magnolia. It'd be like trying to summarize the Bible or something. I'll
take a crack at it, Scottie, for your sake.

Within the movie are around 9 different plot lines, most of them revolving
around a cocaine-addicted recluse. These wonderful little stories, all of
which having to do with either the past, regret, or forgiveness, seem
completely unrelated to each other until the last half-hour of the film.

Half the beauty of the movie is the manner in which the film is constructed.
Each shot gives so much humility and emotion to each actor.

It's a shame that the movie isn't available to some of you non-U.S.
bananafishers. Maybe when I get rich (it's bound to happen someday), I will
send each and every one of you a copy. It truly is something that cannot be
missed.
