the very first post i put out to the list contained a passage in which i
asked if anyone had a copy of "22 stories" they could let me read. i
mentioned also that i had seen a copy for sale on ebay. almost instantly (or
so it seemed), someone (undoubtedly harry and ass. (a big, bon vivant-style
wave out to those guys, anyone who bullies around guys like luke seeman of
the holden server have got to be nice people)) contacted ebay and the
listing was removed (i even got a note from ebay "warning" me about what had
happened, as i had bid on the book). i've decided to keep my e-mouth shut
on any other such sightings, and, as far as i know, there hasn't been any
trouble. the auction in question, incidentally, had lasted ten days, and
had actually already ended, before it was removed, the same day as my post.
