Ahh Scottie, I would argue that "real life," when it comes to
Salinger, is most real on the page of his fiction. I too had a
souring read of the Rosenbaum piece...I read it when it came out and
was glad to find it today on the screen but in the end Rosesnbaum
seems to have gone a long way to realize Salinger wouldn't be pleased
to see him...one thing that was pretty funny though was how Rosenbaum
calls Salinger "S"...did Rosenbaum think he was making his author
into the character too? Will
