Ha. Very good.

I think it's a mistake to try to link things literary to biographies.
Nuns are a very easy symbol: they've sacrificed a normal life for God, to
live apart. Take that a step further and it's easy to see that they are
something not of this world -- perhaps even otherworldly.

It's like taking the Royal Path, Catholic style.

There's that purity factor, too. It's almost as if they're little girls
who never had to grow up and become phoneys. Forever Phoebes. Or
something.
