Funny how fate plays itself out for some people.

James Dickey, one of America's greatest poets is essentially known for his
NOVel, Deliverance, that was made into a Burt Reynolds movie (Dickey stars
in it, too. I think he's the sheriff at the end), and not his poetry. At
least by the general public.
