Genius

Has anyone read Genius by Bloom? I know some people follow him closely and others see him as a pompous old windbag. I fall into both categories. I agree with him wholeheartedly on some of his ideas and passionately disagree on others (like the fact he thinks Kenneth Branagh's version of Henry V isn't very good). I want to get this book because it looks interesting, but I can't justify the $35!
