Kim, several years ago I had my hands on the rare edition of
RHTRBC&SAI--the one lacking the dedication. My friendly local
bookseller wanted $1,000. It was in excellent condition but my bank
account wasn't and I had to let it go. I'm not certain, but it sounds
like the edition you describe is not a true first edition but a
pre-publication copy. In any case, I was glad you posted the
information--thanks, will
