To quote some *other* annoying critic: "That's not writing. That's typing."
It was very hard for me to get through. Sure, there are certain parts that
make you nod and smile, or maybe even make your eyes water, but those are
so few and far between. It was an interesting experiment. Probably worth
trying, but I would love to be able to see what _On the Road_ would be if
Mr. Kerouac had taken his time and really made it the best it could be.
Just the opinion of someone who yawns at least 100 times per day and says
common place things even more than that.
