It wasn't your post in general. I just think that this list has been
incredibly dull, with everyone constantly making subtle condesencions toward
one another. There has been no real Salinger-related content, and when I post
something concerning Zen and Salinger and "The Way of The Pilgrim" I shouldn't
have to explain myself to everyone before getting an answer. I am not a
deliberately rude person, but when someone's snide condesesion of a post
becomes the basis of more discussion than my original question I get
frustrated. An dit seems liek that has been happening all too much lately. If
you disagree, fine. But please don't respond to this. Can we please just talk
about JD Salinger and Salingerian topics, please? I get really agitated when I
have to delete half the posts because they are pointless and uninteresting and
not at all related to what I signed onto this list for.
So I apolofize to you, Tim. I wasn't directing my frustration at you in
particular. But i am annoyed with teh way this list has been going. And I hope
no one responds to this, because then I'll have started what I am trying to
stop....
