just a quick question--what are these ideals you're so fond of and why are you
so consumed by them? and to root this back into salinger...holden is often
held up as someone striving to retain his ideals, so what exactly are his
ideals? in concrete, declarative sentences please. sorry i'm back in school,
and something just came over me. i'm way behind in the posts since the break
and it appears i've missed a lot of good stuff. my loss. missed you
guys--matt
