I coudn't disagree more.  Yes, language rules help convey ideas.  But the
refusal to take to these rules tends to convey feelings.  "As I Lay Dying".
But I think that's off the point.  The original post was concerning whether
the story was written as a sort of statement to the reader - i dont doubt that
it was - but not in some sort of interactive way.  Get me?
