On the contrary.  Being a native Georgian for all the 16 long years of my
life, I find it very warm and inspiring.  I've been to the north several times
(I have relatives in Buffalo, where my parents are from).  Everything in the
north I find cold and unfriendly.  Anyone you talk to looks at you like your
some kind of wacko (like 'eh, you lookin at me, friend. What gives you the
right to look at me' ( i think that looses some effect unless you read it in a
New Yorkian accent)).  I could never find inspiration for anything in Buffalo.
