In a message dated 98-01-21 19:04:32 EST, you write:

<< Because someone makes jokes, Brendan, it shouldn't be assumed
 	he isn't serious. >>

I don't mean to speak on Brendans behalf, Mr Bowman, but with all due respect,
anyone but a retarded ape could tell that the above is entirely the problem
with your posts tone. Your inherant wrongness would be one thing, whereas I
could easily be happy to disagree. But instead, its an "In-Your-Face,"
HARDCORE wrongness that rings with cockiness. Surely a man, as obviously
educated and brilliant as you are, understands that on the internet medium,
certain mistakes in punctuation, proper nouns, etc, will run on, much like
this sentence. That is because we are trying to attain a conversational tone
where punctuation, to us, is not as important as the message. In a simple
word: Duh.
I do get the strong feeling, though, that you aren't here for any reason other
than to show off. If you have this much on all of us, I'm sure you must have
something much better to do with your time. Perhaps get one of your "Numerous,
well-recieved" books published in the States?
And here is a sentence that starts with and and ends, with a misplaced comma
and no period, just for you, dear proponent of our mother tongue
