Hi guys.

I was reading Franny and Zooey lately and came across a couple of paragraphs
that rang with a whole new bell of meaning.
The posts concerning Charlotte and the rock that hit her and the arm that
threw it and the seymour attatched to that arm and the immaturity thereof; got
me to thinking.
Seymour threw that rock at Charlotte. Meanwhile, for the entire Dialogue with
Lane, Franny is throwing rocks at everything. Actors, Section Men, Lane. Does
anyone else see the co-relation between Franny's behavior in that story and
Seymours behavior with Charlotte? Of course, Seymour wasn't as Bitter about it
all, I don't think, but is Franny using the same rocks Seymour threw at
Charlotte in order to build a wall?

To me, it seemed (especially by the conclusion) that those same "phony egos"
she was complaining about was exactly what Seymours "Fat Lady" advice urged
her to embrace.
Does anyone else the connection?
