To my fiesty bananafish friends,
Here is my 2 cents about the grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.
debate. We are people who love language. That is why we care enough
about JDS's work to get on this list. I know that many of you study or
write about or teach this stuff for a living. We are in the business of
picking apart language and the ideas that the words express. But, come
on, this is not the place. We write e-mails and the language may be
important to us, but we shouldn't cut down other people for their syntax
or capitalization. We are here to kick around ideas not grammar.
