I found it to be an interesting exercise but ultimately tiresome (then again, i'm no lit theorist). I guess I didn't like it because I disagreed with what I thought were major premises of the book which were that there are no more original stories and that once you've read one story, you've read them all. I probably have more to say on the subject but I'm really tired right now and it's been awhile since I read it, so I'll apologize for the shallowness of my comments about the book up front. I am, however, very interested in hearing what other people think about it. Peggy
