Yeah, I can see it working for movies. Books? Harder to say. I mean, I've read Ulysses and Dan Jenkins' You Gotta Play Tough and would recommend them both...to different people :) Camille--I finally checked around your websites some last night. Oooh. I'm impressed :) Everyone--Look forward to a Camille Scaysbrook School of Fine Arts sometime in the future, shortly followed by a Scaysbrook Clinic for Overworked Artists :) Beating Some Dead Horses Now That Nothing Else is Going On.... Finally picked up Clockwork Orange and have started reading it. I have a confession to make. I picked up Jenkins "Tough" book at the same time and I finished it first. :) Oh, where oh where has literature gone to nowadays? I'll never watch ANY sports game the same again :) And just in time for the Superbowl.... But I am enjoying Clockwork Orange now and yes, I see what everyone was saying about the language. And all the newer American editions do have the 21st chapter reinstated, with comments by both author and publisher about how it got left out. Their stories differed. The author -- "I needed the money so against my better judgment I let them take it out so they would publish it." The publisher -- "JEEZ, we were just making a SUGGESTION." And so it went... :). And lemme bring up Romeo+Juliet again. My wife tried to wrent Marvin's Room from Blockbuster and, upon opening the case, found Romeo+Juliet inside. So we watched it again and then returned the tape to Blockbuster in a huff, demanding Marvin's Room for free. Ha ha. The rental was for three days and we got the correct film after one anyways. ANYWAYS, I'm sorry, but I am gonna defend Danes and DiCaprio here a bit. I thought they handled Shakespearean English pretty well. About ALL the characters except for good old Claire did an Over The Top rendition of some lines that made them unintelligible, but when Danes was kneeling by the pool and said, "or any other parts common to a man" (or something to that effect) with a schoolgirl's blush and whisper, that did it for me. Good girl. Good movie. Jim Jim ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
