Well, compulsive that I am, when I reread what I sent, I realized that in
trying to be funny with:

I could have been construed as serious. Ulysses was, of course, from
Ithaca, not Ireland. Ithaca, of course, being a place in upstate New York.
And yes, I'm kidding again.
What I was trying to do was to make another connection with another
Irishman's Ulysses, but I see upon rereading that I was somewhat ham-fisted
about it. That is a post for another day, when I have considered it for
long enough.
(Oh, and most of you probably got it the first time, but I just can't force
myself to let it alone. Sigh.)
