Wow, I agree with almost every word of Scottie's post...we share a
perception of JFK and that astounds me! My guess is that the two
might have talked about some of the ladies they knew...didn't JFK
also have a crush on Oona O'Neil?
Valerie, can you say more about your test on the The Silent? I
taught For Esme last week and I enjoy stressing the deep
communication of silent love...not something tangible exactly for
list life, but Salinger readers are usually in the know about this
