i might mention that in salinger.org the subscribing
instructions seem flawed. i followed them several
times and kept receiving an unsuccessful reply email.
the instructions say enter in the body of the text
'subscribe bananafish full name' [your full name].
this repeatedly failed (at least for me). only when i
entered 'subscribe bananafish' then 'my email address'
did i receive the welcome to bananafish email.
