very interesting re the unpublished caulfield stories.
 lucky you to get to read them!

yes, i too have problems with seymour as 7 even if we
are suppose to believe his iq is off the chart.

given that six years of silence followed 'seymour: an
intro', surely salinger could have come up with
something better than 'hapworth'.
