Patrick, teaching English at the college level is not a great career because there really aren't very many jobs, but it is satisfying I guess I want to encourage you to think that if you really want it, you will make it so by creating important thinking...I drove a cab while getting my phd and enjoyed the "balance" between theory and practice.
