Hey, Will- Your proposal is interesting. Naturally, school is out now, and there are a few obstacles as I (quickly) see them. For one, odd to tell, this is my first computer and it's 11 days old, so I know virtually nothing about what I'm doing. Also, I generally don't "do" Salinger until April or May and (the last two years, I believe) with my Advanced Placement class only. This should change, as some of the less capable readers DO enjoy some of the more accessible stories. I think almost all are fascinated (even though they claim not to understand--who does?) by "A Perfect Day..." Lost track of what I'm kvetching about. I'm printing your note to me as a reminder. The students will understand the technology, even if I don't!- S.
